I was always astounded at Craig's detailed memory of all things that went through his mind. A true love of any and all things good about college football and strong opinions about things he disagreed with were what made the man. I often tried to wonder what it would be like to travel the distances he did with the time and money commitments necessary to accomplish his goal of seeing every program. He was a special, passionate man who would pop in and out of my life over the years in his travels and thoughts. His wife Sandy an incredibly understanding women who supported his passion for the game and would come on out to LA with him as we'd all visit. They both saw me go from single to married with 2 children and I enjoyed our visits immensely. He will be missed, but certainly remembered.
