NCAA 1-AA NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
JASON JACKSON, JR. RB, 5-10, 200. MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY:
Jackson recorded his second 200-yard game of his career when the Bears defeated Savannah State, 55-26. Against Savannah State he racked up 251 yards on 22 carries and scored four touchdowns. He is averaging 6.7 yards per carry and leads the Bears with six touchdowns so far this season

NCAA 1-AA NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
RICKY SANTOS. SO. RB, 6-2, 215. UNIVERSITY OF NEW HAMPSHIRE:
Santos completed 22-of-33 passes for 422 yards and three touchdowns and added a pair of rushing touchdowns on five carries for 20 yards, as New Hampshire defeated Towson, 62-21. He topped the 4,000-yard passing milestone (4,076) in just his 15th career game. This was also his sixth career 300-yard passing performance.

NCAA 1-AA NATIONAL DEFENSIVE
LANCE GRAY, JR. LB, 6'3 235. UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND:
Gray scored Richmond's first touchdown of the evening on a 40-yard interception return and added a second interception in the end zone to stop a Maine drive as the Spiders came away with a 26-21 victory. He recorded seven tackles (four solo). He raised his career total to three interceptions.

NCAA 1-AA NATIONAL DEFENSIVE
BRIAN HULEA, SR. LB, 6'1, 235. VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY:
Hulea recovered a pair of fumbles, including one for a touchdown, and added an interception in Villanova's 38-20 win over Northeastern. He posted his second consecutive 14-tackle performance of 2005. His 324 career tackles are the most of any active player in the Atlantic 10.

NCAA 1-AA NATIONAL SPECIAL TEAMS
MIKE DRAGOSAVICH, SO. P, 6'5, 196. NORTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY:
Dragosavich punted six times for an average of 50.7 yards per kick, including a season-long 62 yarder in the 41-0 win over Weber State. Had three punts inside the 20-yard line to keep the Wildcats pinned deep in their territory. He has punted 17 times for an average of 44.0 yards per punt, including four inside the opponents 20-yard line, three touchbacks and one fair catch so far this season.

NCAA 1-AA NATIONAL OFFENSIVE LINEMAN
JAMIE OWNBEY, SR. OC, 6'2, 258. ELON UNIVERSITY:
Ownbey turned in his best performance of his career, grading out at a career-best 93 percent for technique and 95 percent for effort for his work in Elon's 34-19 Homecoming victory over previously unbeaten and 25th-ranked NCAA Div. II Presbyterian. He snapped the ball in perfect fashion on every one of Elon's 73 offensive plays, including no missed assignments and no sacks allowed to go with his career-high 22 knockdown blocks. He paced the Phoenix offense to 369 yards of total offense and 34 points.

NCAA 1-AA NATIONAL OFFENSIVE LINEMAN
JUSTIN WILLIAMSON OT, 6'6, 262. MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY:
Williamson, who graded at 91 percent, allowed no sacks, no penalties, had 13 knockdowns and no missed assignments in the Bears' 45-21 win against Southeast Missouri State.

NCAA 1-AA MID-MAJOR NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
SCOTT PHAYDAVONG, SO. RB, 5'6, 161. DRAKE UNIVERSITY:
Phaydavong didn't record a touchdown, but his 28 carries for 234 yards set up four touchdowns as Drake picked up its first-ever victory against Wisconsin-Platteville, 37-14. The 234 yards rushing are the third-most by a 1-AA back in a single game this season. His first-half totals of 17 carries and 176 yards were the tenth best performance in 1-AA for a single-game.

NCAA 1-AA MID-MAJOR NATIONAL DEFENSIVE
JAMES ADAMS, JR. OLB, 6'1, 223. DEAKE UNIVERSITY:
Adams re-corded 13 tackles (six solo), including a tackle for loss, forced a fumble, which he then recovered and ran back 28 yards, and then tacked on a 35-yard interception return for a touchdown. Drake defeated Wisconsin-Platteville, 37-14.

NCAA 1-AA MID-MAJOR NATIONAL SPECIAL TEAMS
PIOTR CZECH, SR. K/P, 6'5, 210. WAGNER COLLEGE:
Czech had a perfect performance as the Seahawk offense rolled to a 52-25 win over St. Peter's. He nailed all eight of his placekicking attempts, including seven extra points and a 39-yard field goal. Handling the punting duties as well, he booted three times for a 40.7 yards per punt average, with each kick landing inside the St. Peter's 20-yard line. Czech ranks fifth all-time at Wagner with 45 point-after-attempts.

NCAA 1-AA MID-MAJOR NATIONAL SPECIAL TEAMS
RYAN HORVATH, SR. K, 6'1, 206. DRAKE UNIVERSITY:
Horvath put together the seventh-best punting performance in 1-AA this season, booming four punts for a 50.8 yard-per-punt average. All four punts were over 50 yards and two were placed inside the 20-yard line. Horvath added a 20-yard field goal in Drake's 37-14 win at Wisconsin-Platteville.

NCAA II NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
WES BESCHORNER, SR. QB, 5'10, 188. UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Beschorner had a career-best in passing yards and led the 16th-ranked South Dakota (4-0) to a 44-41 overtime win over Colorado Mines. For the fourth straight game, Beschorner threw for four touchdowns and for the second time this season accounted for five touchdowns on offense. He completed 20-of-28 passes for a career-best 302 yards and also rushed 14 times for 74 yards and scored on a seven-yard run. He set a career-best with 374 yards in total offense. He now has thrown 41 touchdowns passes in his career. His career totals are now 5,242 yards in total offense, 4,234 yards passing which both totals placing him third all-time on the USD passing list. So far this season he has tossed 16 touchdown passes and rushed for two.

NCAA II NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
VINNIE SAYLOR, SR. QB, 6'1, 202. UNIVERSITY OF NORTH ALABAMA:
Saylor led North Alabama to a 56-21 home upset of No. 9 Delta State. He completed 23-of-35 passes for 322 yards and tied a school record with four touchdown tosses. Saylor led UNA to a 28-0 halftime lead with four first-quarter touchdown passes. He capped the Lions' opening drive with his longest scoring strike of the game, a 56-yard bomb to Anthony Merritt.

NCAA II NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
TED SCHLAFKE, FR. QB, 5'11, 180. UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA-DULUTH:
Schlafke completed a career-high 28-of-34 passes for 347 yards and four touchdowns to lead UMD past Minnesota State-Moorhead 55-7. He started the game by completing his first 11 passes.

NCAA II NATIONAL DEFENSIVE
IVAN DIGGS, SO. DB. 6'0, 200. ST. AUGUSTINE'S COLLEGE:
Diggs collected six total tackles (three solo), including one tackle for loss of two yards, returned a fumble for 48 yards to set up a touchdown and had an interception for a 96-yard touchdown in the Falcons 44-14 win over Virginia State.

NCAA II NATIONAL SPECIAL TEAMS
JEFF GLAS, SR. K, 5'9, 200. UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
Glas was a perfect 4-for-4 in field goals, including a 52-and 48-yarder as UND defeated Western Washington 47-7. The 52-yard poke ties the second longest in his career. He was also 5-for-5 in extra point attempts.

NCAA II NATIONAL SPECIAL TEAMS
ROSHAWN MARSHALL, JR. KR, 5'10, 200. CENTRAL MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY:
Marshall tied two MIAA and CMSU records for punt return touchdowns in the Mules' 69-17 win over Truman State. He had back-to-back touchdown returns of 63 and 57 yards to account for all the scoring in the third quarter. He finished with four returns for 127 yards (31.8 ypr). The two punt return touchdowns tied the school and league mark set in 2000 by Kevin Nickerson against Quincy (Ill.). It was his third scoring punt return of the season, also tying Nickerson's mark set in 2000.

NCAA II NATIONAL SPECIAL TEAMS
ANTHONY MERRITT, JR. WR/KR, 6'0, 189. UNIVERSITY OF NORTH ALABAMA:
Merritt turned in an electrifying performance in UNA's 56-21 win over No. 9-ranked Delta State. He returned both a kickoff and a punt for a touchdown. Merritt returned three punts for 91 yards, including an 88-yard scamper for a touchdown. He also logged two kickoff returns for 97 yards led by an 87-yard touchdown late in the game. It was the first time a GSC player returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the same game since Lion Corey Harris did it in 1998. Merritt also tied a GSC career record for punt return touchdowns (5). At his offensive position he caught five passes for 99 yards and two scores and had two carries for 24 yards and one touchdown.

NCAA II NATIONAL OFFENSIVE LINEMAN
NATE CHANDLER, SR. WR, 6'0, 175. MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY:
Chandler set a new school record for receiving yards in a game (274) and caught touchdown passes of 87, 68 and 86 yards, respectively. His 87-yard catch ended up being the game-winner in Millikin's 31-24 victory at Franklin (Ind.). The game was by far the best performance of Chandler's career, after missing most of the 2004 season with a knee injury. He finished the game with six catches for 274 yards and three touchdowns while returning three kickoffs for 86 yards with a long run of 52.

NCAA III NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
CHRIS EDWARDS, SR. QB, 6'3, 215. WASHINGTON AND JEFFERSON COLLEGE:
Edwards set a new NCAA Div. III record by completing his first 21 passes in a 45-21 win over Allegheny. He finished the game 33-of-37 (completed 24-of-25 in the first half) passing for a career-best 419 yards and four TDs.

NCAA III NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
DENNY KIMMEL, JR. RB, 5'10. 200. ANDERSON UNIVERSITY:
Kimmel set two school records in the Ravens' 48-7 win over visiting Earlham College on Sept. 17. He rushed for a school-record 283 yards on 27 carries. He also scored three touchdowns including once on a school-record 95-yard run. He caught six passes for 40 yards in the contest and finished the day with 323 all-purpose yardage. Kimmel is leading the conference in rushing with a 199.7 yard per game average and he has scored a conference-best seven touchdowns. He also ranks third in the nation in rushing and second in all-purpose yards (235.3 ypg).

NCAA III NATIONAL DEFENSIVE
CHAD HINRICHS, SR. CB. 5'8, 170. BUENA VISTA UNIVERSITY:
Hinrichs tied the school record with three interceptions, including one he returned 55 yards for a touchdown to seal the win over Loras, 14-0. He totaled three interceptions for 65 yards, broke up two passes and had five tackles.

NCAA III NATIONAL DEFENSIVE
KRIS ZAJAC, SR. SS, 5'10, 190. DEFIANCE COLLEGE:
Zajac was instrumental in the Yellow Jackets' victory over Bethany (WV) College, 29-26. He recorded 18 tackles, including twelve of those stops being solo tackles, while the strong safety also set Heartland Conference season-highs with 4.0 sacks and 5.0 tackles-for-loss.

NCAA III NATIONAL SPECIAL TEAMS
JESSE HARMS, SO. P. 6'5, 230. U.S. COAST GUARD ACADEMY:
Harms tied a 66-year old school record by unloading an 81-yard punt which pinned Norwich at the 4-yard line, Norwich then went three-and-out and the Bears blocked the punt and recovered it for a touchdown and a 17-0 lead. Jesse punted four times for a 52.5 average and now leads the Liberty League and is fourth in the nation with a 44.1 average. USCGA defeated Norwich 30-12.

NAIA NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
CODY HOEGH, SR. RB, 5'7, 180. NEBRASKA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY:
Hoegh ran 21 times for 195 yards and four touchdowns in the Prairie Wolves 30-14 win at Midland Lutheran. He also caught three passes for 66 yards. His 63 yard touchdown run in the third quarter put the Prairie Wolves in front 30-7, right after MLC had scored their first touchdown. The four rushing touchdowns ties a Nebraska Wesleyan and GPAC single game record, and his 24 points scored also tied the school record at NWU.

NAIA NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
DEMETRIC PHILLIPS, SR. TB, 5'8, 194. EVANGEL UNIVERSITY:
Phillips ran for 124 yards on 17 carries (7.3) and scored four touchdowns as Evangel won at Avila, 41-18. The four touchdowns ties the Evangel record for single-game touchdowns rushing. Phillips' 124 yards rushing performance is the eleventh 100-plus yard game of his career.

NAIA NATIONAL DEFENSIVE
KENNY CARLSON, SR. DB. 5'9, 190. MIDAMERICA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY:
Carlson recorded five solo and four assisted tackles in the 38-20 win over Central Methodist. The Lindsborg, Kansas native added 1.5 tackles for a loss of nine yards, a half sack, one pass break up to go along with a 37-yard interception return for a touchdown.

NAIA NATIONAL DEFENSIVE
JOE MARESH, JR. DE, 6'2, 215. VALLEY CITY STATE UNIVERSITY:
In the 100th meeting between the Vikings and the Jimmies, Maresh recorded 12 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for loss and three sacks totaling 30 yards in losses to help VCSU to a 20-19 victory. He also forced a fumble.

NAIA NATIONAL SPECIAL TEAMS
ROB LASH, SO. WR/KR, 5'11, 176. WALSH UNIVERSITY:
Lash returned a kickoff a Walsh record 95 yards for a touchdown as the Cavaliers defeated No. 22-ranked Olivet Nazarene, 24-17. He also had two receptions for 23 yards and one rush for one yard. Lash also returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown a week earlier against Ohio Dominican.

NCCAA NATIONAL OFFENSIVE
KYLE THOMFORDE, FR. WR, 6'2, 205. NORTHWESTERN (MN) COLLEGE:
Thomforde caught three passes for 127 yards and one touchdown and returned one punt for a 68-yard score as NC romped over Principia College, 66-0. He has eight catches on the year, including four for touchdowns.
